Cinnamon Sugar pull apart loaf 

Ingredients

200g Sourdough Starter

4g Salt

4g Yeast (optional if your starter isn’t at it’s peak)

135mls Buttermilk

1 Egg

350g Flour

Cinnamon Sugar

100g Butter

150g Brown sugar

12g Cinnamon

Method

1. Warm your buttermilk in the microwave until lukewarm warm

2. If adding yeast, add this to the warm buttermilk and allow to bloom for 5 minutes

3. In a stand mixer or large bowl, add the salt, egg, flour and sourdough starter and mix until smooth dough, cover and set aside to double in size

4. Separate your dough to 16 balls, roll each ball flat into little discs

5. In a small bowl mix the butter, cinnamon and brown sugar

6. Spread cinnamon sugar mix on half of each of the dough discs, then fold the disc in half and place up right into a lined loaf tin

7. Let rest again for 30min while your oven pre heats to 180deg Celsius

8. Bake for 25min or until golden brown

Optional: dust with icing sugar and serve warm
